Kerstin Howard designs and makes all her own pieces using a variation of techniques including forging, reticulation, fusing, riveting and repoussé, all creating a natural organic effect. She works in gold and silver, often mixing the two together, and offers a wide range of torques, bracelets, rings and earrings. She also undertakes commissions based on original works.

Most of her pieces are simple and unadorned whilst others are more elaborately set with precious and semi-precious stones, all with her trademark satinised finish.

The works are of an organic nature originally inspired by desert sand patterns encountered on her travels.

Kerstin gained an HND with a Distinction in 1997 at Surrey Institute of Art & Design where she also won a Goldsmiths’ Bursary Award.
